Poplar Bluff police investigate assault of man, wife

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) -

Poplar Bluff police have arrested two suspects after and man and his wife were assaulted.

A man came home Tuesday and found his father and mother had been severely assaulted at their home in the 1900 block of Wilson Street, according to the Poplar Bluff Police Department.

The victims were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

The Butler County Major Case Squad has been activated.
