A Steele man is facing assault and weapons charges after police say he put a gun to his wife's head while she held her infant son.
According to Steele Police Chief Billy Joe Stanfield, the incident happened on Wednesday, January 16, at a home on Lynne Drive.
Keith Robertson, 33, of Steele, Missouri was charged with two counts of domestic assault first degree, domestic assault second degree, endangering the welfare of a child first degree, two counts of armed criminal action and one count of unlawful use of a weapon.
Stanfield says Robertson pulled a handgun on his wife and placed it on her head and threatened to shoot her while she was holding a baby.
The chief added that Robertson also allegedly hit his 18-year-old step son across the head with the same gun.
