Two Jackson seniors sign LOI

JACKSON, MO (KFVS) -

Jackson senior Laquesha Martin will join Mineral Area College softball team in the 2013-14 season, according to head coach David Guemmer.

Martin says that she expects the league to be more competitive compared to high school softball.

Teammate Demesha Huddleston also signed with Three Rivers Community College. Huddleston played on the All-Southeast Missourian softball team in 2011.

Huddleston is expected to play second base while Martin is expected to catch and seek out other positions.

The Cardinals and the Raiders are both in the Midwest Community College Athletic Conference.
