SIU-Edwardsville defeats Southeast Missouri State

The SIU-Edwardsville basketball team defeated Southeast Missouri State 80-77 Thursday night.

Mark Yelovich led the Cougars with 24 points as SIUE improved to 3-4 in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Corey Wilford paced the 3-4 and 11-10 Redhawks with 21 points.

Marland Smith added 15 points and four assists in the defeat.
