Coroner's jury rules Carbondale woman's death as undetermined

Molly Young Molly Young
CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

A coroner's jury has ruled the death of a Carbondale woman as undetermined.

The jury took less than 30 minutes to decide that the death of the woman was not an accident, not a homicide and not a suicide.

The victim is identified as 21-year-old Molly Young.

In March 2012, someone found young's body in her ex-boyfriend's apartment.

The ex-boyfriend worked as a Carbondale police dispatcher.

Investigators say she had been shot in the head, but right now investigators don't know if it was suicide or homicide.

Young's family members say several strange circumstances lead them to believe she was murdered.
