Two McCracken County men face charges related to selling narcotics after being arrested in Paducah on Friday.
The Paducah Police Drug and Vice Enforcement (DAVE) Unit has concluded a two-month investigation involving the two men.
Investigators with the Paducah Police Department say the DAVE Unit got anonymous information in December 2012 that 37-year-old Todd Mitchell and 57-year-old Oscar Prescott were involved in illegal narcotic sales in the McCracken County area.
The DAVE Unit launched undercover investigations that led them to arrest both individuals today at the intersection of North 8th and Madison streets in Paducah.
Police say both Mitchell and Prescott were in possession of marked money that was used in previous undercover drug transactions with the DAVE Unit.
Mitchell was also reportedly in possession of approximately four grams of crack cocaine and $500 in cash believed to be received from illegal narcotics sales.
Both men were reportedly charged with conspiracy to traffic in a controlled substance. It is punishable by 5-10 years behind bars.
Both Mitchell and Prescott were taken to the McCracken County Jail.
