The Southeast Missouri State men's basketball team lost to Eastern Kentucky 81-72 Saturday night at the Show Me Center, bringing the Redhawks losing streak to three games.
Southeast had trouble scoring, as only two Redhawks had double-digits in points. Corey Wilford was able to find success with a career-high and team-leading 27 points. Tyler Stone had 16 points of his own to go with five rebounds.
The Colonels scoring attack was led by their guard play. Glenn Cosby had a team-high 21 points, Mike DiNunno had 18 points and Tarius Johnson had 14 points. Forward Eric Stutz helped on the defensive end with seven blocks and gave EKU an inside presence by grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds.
The Redhawks fell to 11-13 overall and 3-7 in OVC play. They next play against SIU Edwardsville at home on Feb. 7 at 7 p.m.
