UT Martin women's basketball player sets national record

MARTIN, TN (KFVS) -

UT Martin Junior Guard Heather Butler has set a new NCAA record for consecutive games scoring a three-point field goal with 70.

Butler's streak started January 19, 2011 against Southeast Missouri State.

Butler has made at least five 3-pointers on five occasions this season.
