Salukis pull off Shocker over Wichita State - KFVS12 News & Weather Cape Girardeau, Carbondale, Poplar Bluff

The Southern Illinois Salukis overcame a 17-point deficit in the first half to upset 22nd ranked Wichita State 64-62 Tuesday night in Carbondale.

Jalen Pendleton scored the final six points for SIU including the game winner with 2-seconds remaining.

With the victory, Southern Illinois improves to 9-13 and 2-10 in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Wichita State falls to 19-5 and 8-4.
