A new federal report says inmates at jails in Indianapolis, Baltimore, St. Louis and Philadelphia face the nation's highest levels of sexual abuse at the hands of guards.
BENTON, KY (KFVS) -
The Marshall County
Rescue Squad has announced their2013 Spring fundraiser will start on February 18
and end on April 27.
Organizers say the fundraiser will be by phone call only. Money made from the fund raiser will be used to equip a rope-rescue technician team and update water rescue team equipment.
According to the rescue squad, anyone who makes a donation will receive two tickets for two prizes
to be given away during an open house April 27, from 3-5 p.m.
A drawing to
be held at 5 p.m. Rules state you must be at least 18-years-old and you must be present to win.
Prizes include an 4 GB X-Box 360 and a large flat screen
Television. The prizes are being provided by the fundraiser coordinator. There will also be a silent auction that ends
April 27 at 5 p.m.
To view items for bid,
stop by the rescue squad base at 201 Ash Street in Benton, Ky., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Additional items could be added throughout the fundraiser.

Chief Curtner says if anyone comes to your door seeking donations try to get a
vehicle plate number or name of person and contact the chief. He says they will
prosecute anyone defrauding supporters.
Again, the fundraiser will be held by phone only, according to organizers.
