CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A tractor-trailer rolled over after a crash on Interstate-55 sometime before noon on Thursday.

Emergency crews are on the scene in Cape Girardeau County. Both northbound lanes were shut down in order for the truck to be removed from the crash scene. This is at the 93 mile marker.

The interstate is back open.

The vehicle was southbound on I-55 and went through barricades, through the median and then spun around.  The tractor-trailer then jackknifed and went through the northbound lanes and down a ditch on the east side of the northbound lanes.

The female driver was taken to local hospital. There's no word on her condition.

There were no other injuries.
