WASHINGTON COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

One person was injured on Tuesday following a crash on Spring Town Road in Washington County. 

The crash happened when a vehicle driven by Steven L. Dane, 49, of Park Hills swerved to avoid a deer. 

The car then ran off the road and struck a culvert.

Dane was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.
