    A fire in Oran destroyed a 2-story house on Tuesday morning.      According to the Oran Fire Department, it happened at 4:05 a.m. at 907 highway W, which is right in the middle of town.     Firefighters
    No one was living in the home at the time of the time. Fire crews tell Heartland News that the family had just moved out.

CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

An altercation reportedly led to a man alledgedly being stabbed several times on Thursday in Calloway County.

According to Sheriff Bill Marcum, Calloway County deputies responded to the Murray Calloway County Hospital E.R. in responsed to someone that had reportedly been assaulted.

Investigators say James Nance, 42, of Murray, and Christopher B. Burkeeen, 32, of Almo, Kentucky, were at a home on Bethel Road when a fight broke out.

It's alleged that Burkeen stabbed Nance with a knife several times during the fight, according to Sheriff Marcum.

Nance was treated at the hospital for his injuries.

The sheriff's office is looking for Burkeen.

The investigation continues.
