NEWTOWN, CT (WFSB) -

The Boston Bruins came to Newtown on Monday.

The team held a clinic for the high school's hockey team and an autograph session with children.

Bruins Chris Bourque, Andrew Ference, Dougie Hamilton, Aaron Johnson, Adam McQuaid, Daniel Paille and Rich Peverley as well as Coach Claude Julien attended the event.

First responders received autographed and framed Bruins jerseys.
