A mother in Georgia is understandably upset after finding out her son is dead. She is even more upset over how she found out.
Police in Clayton County, Ga. apparently sent the mother, Anna Lamb-Creasey, a message on Facebook notifying her that her son had been killed.
The mother had been looking for her son since late January of this year, according to MSN Now.
The police sent the mother the message through a Facebook profile entitled "Misty Hancock" and the message was sent to a folder that Creasey didn't check.
When she finally found the message and called Clayton County police, she was told her son had been killed crossing the street and that his body had been in the local morgue for weeks.
Creasey's daughter also received the message, but assumed it was fake because she didn't know the person, and thought the fact that the profile picture was a famous rapper seemed a bit sketchy.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Creasey was "furious" because the police told her they did their best to try and contact her, which she says is hard to believe.
Police are still looking into why that profile was used to contact Creasey and say that they tried several ways of contacting Creasey before resorting to Facebook.
