1 killed in crash in Livingston County

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

One person is dead following a crash on KY 453 in Livingston County on Wednesday night.

According to Kentucky State Police, the wreck happened at 10:38 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Bill Christianson, 45, of Hampton, Ky. was driving north on KY 453.

Christianson's vehicle left the road and struck an electric pole.

The car then came to a stop, 58 feet from the pole.

Christianson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Livingston County Coroner's Office.

Livingston County Sheriff's Office, EMS and Smithland Fire Department all assisted at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
