3rd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace Walk at Houck Stadium

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Xi Gamma chapter at Southeast Missouri State University will host their 3rd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace Walk on Saturday, February 23.

The walk will begin at 1 p.m. at Houck Stadium. At noon there were a dozen gathered with more expected.

The group will be walking from the stadium to the Show Me Center and back to the stadium. They say their message is to spread diversity and they welcome anyone to join.

    A 19-year-old of Carbondale, Illinois has been sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
