JACKSON, MO (KFVS) -

AT&T will be bringing a virtual reality simulator to Jackson Senior High School to let students and faculty experience the dangers of texting and driving.

The event will take place Monday, Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The simulator is aimed at encouraging students to put down the phone while driving to keep themselves and others safe on the roads.

Representatives from AT&T and the City of Jackson will be on hand.

Students will be encouraged to share their own stories of texting while driving and the dangers it can cause.
