MINER, MO (KFVS) -

Officers with the Miner Police Department arrested a wanted fugitive from Tupelo, Mississippi. 

Cornellius Long, 21, of Tupelo Mississippi was wanted on several warrants, including armed robbery, aggravated assault, and other such crimes.

Officers received information that Long might be in the area in a local hotel. 

Officers obtained further information, and were able to locate him in a vehicle. 

Long was taken into custody without any incident. 

He is currently being held in the Scott County Sheriff's Department awaiting extradition.
