    According to employees with the Walnut Street Assisted Facility in Doniphan, a fire started Sunday morning around 6:30 a.m. in one of the dryers there after it wouldn't turn off.

PEMISCOT COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

The Pemiscot County sheriff's office is investigating what they are calling suspicious phone calls in the county.

Sheriff Tommy Greenwell said his department has received several calls from about a believed Canadian phone scam going around within the tri-state area. 

Sheriff Greenwell says to be cautious with providing any information about your identity, banking information or family status over the phone.
