Amber Alert canceled, toddler found safe

SPRINGFIELD, MO (KFVS) -

A 13-month-old Missouri girl is safe back with her family Sunday morning and an Amber Alert has been canceled.

The toddler, Harmony Blue, was abducted Saturday afternoon by an apparent car thief. She was reportedly in the car with an older child when someone stole the car from a store parking lot in Springfield.

Police say the kids' father left the children and the keys in the car while he was in a store. The older child was dropped off nearby and recovered by police. Harmony was also later located, unharmed.

Family members say they are relieved to have her home.

"We're just so thankful," said Harmony's father, Jerry Blue. "We just want to thank everybody for everything."

It's unclear if police have made any arrests.
