CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

The man accused of shooting and killing two people at a Cape Girardeau apartment building was in court Thursday for a preliminary hearing.

Kenneth Bell, 22, is charged with two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of Shannon James and Misty Cole.

After hearing testimony early this morning, the judge in the case ruled that there was enough information for the case against Bell to go to trial.

Police say the shootings happened in early February.

Bell is due back in court on Monday.
