Belmont defeated Murray State 70-68 in Overtime Saturday night in the Ohio Valley Conference Championship game in Nashville.

Kerron Johnson hit a jump shot with 1.2 seconds remaining to break a tie game in Overtime.

Murray State came up short in their bid for third championship in four years and 16th overall.

Stacy Wilson led the Racers with 23 points.
