DYER COUNTY, TN (KFVS) -

A new reward is being offered for a man that was killed 7-years-ago.

Brian Teague, 30, was murdered in 2005. Brian's father, Jim Teague says he just wants justice done.

Jim along with family and friends raised the reward from $5,000 to $15,000. The money is to be used for information about who could have been responsible, and for the arrest of that person or people involved.

Family members say they are determined to get closure.

On October 14, 2005, around 6:30 p.m., Brian Teague's wife Jane found Brian stabbed to death in his home on Highway 104 near Finley, Tennessee.

She reportedly had spoken to him by phone from her job at Pizza Hut in Dyersburg before the murder occurred.

Dyer County Sheriff's Chief Investigator Terry McCreight assisted the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations in Teague's death investigation, and said the motive for Teague's murder was robbery.

McCreight said they had a couple of persons of interest, but not enough evidence to charge them.

Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box says investigators are trying to do more DNA testing and hopes to get them new leads.

Anyone that has any information is urged to contact Dyer County Sheriff's Investigator Terry McCreight at 731-445-3082 or Crime Stoppers of Dyer County at 731-285-TIPS.
