Otto Porter Jr. named Big East Player of the Year

Former Scott County Central star and now Georgetown Sophomore Otto Porter Junior has been named the unanimous choice as Big East Player of the Year.

Porter led the Hoyas to a share of the regular season title after averaging over 18-points and 7-rebounds per game.

The awards were presented Tuesday at Madison Square Garden on the first day of the conference tournament.
