MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

The McCracken County Grand Jury has indicted five people on various drug charges stemming from separate incidents.

On Wednesday, March 13, Victoria Buckingham and Antonia Hunt, both 37 and of S 17 Street in Paducah, were located and arrested by deputies.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, Buckingham and Hunt had been under investigation since earlier this year and during the investigation it had been determined that the two were selling crack cocaine together.

Buckingham and Hunt were both taken to the McCracken County Jail and charged with trafficking cocaine on warrants handed down by the grand jury.

An investigation was also opened into the trafficking of prescription medication by Karla Hessler, 29, of Ledbetter, Ky. and Jessi Crooks, 27, of Paducah.

Detectives found that Hessler and Crooks were helping each other sell Methadone doses from Crooks house at 3712 Clarks River Road in Paducah.

On Wednesday, Hesler turned herself into police and was bonded out on a $10,000 property bond.

Jessi Crooks was found and taken into custody at a Paducah business on Bridge Street at around 12:30 Thursday afternoon.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says Crooks was hiding from police and they had asked for help finding her.

In an unrelated investigation, deputies went to 1910 Hendricks in Paducah to arrest Kathy Montgomery, 53, for trafficking marijuana pursuant to an arrest warrant.

The warrant was from a prior investigation.

Deputies searched Montgomery's house and found over a pound of marijuana, a quantity of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and evidence that suggested Montgomery was illegally trafficking drugs.

Montgomery was taken to McCracken County Jail and charged with one count of trafficking marijuana under 8 ounces, one count of trafficking marijuana over 8 ounces, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
