NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A man and woman are accused of selling drugs out of their car and bringing their child along for the ride.

An undercover officer wearing a wire met the suspects at the Gallatin Pike Kmart for a drug deal. The couple also had their 8-year-old son in the back seat at the time.

The officer asked the couple to drive around the block to do the drug exchange.

According to the arrest warrant, one of the suspects started yelling at the officer, saying, "Are you crazy? Do you think I'm going to rob you?"

Despite the tense situation, the couple handed the officer an envelope with cocaine inside and accepted fake cash from the officer.

A few moments later, police stopped the car and arrested the couple.

The boy's mother, Olivia Martin, faces charges of child endangerment in addition to drug charges. Police have not released the name of the man who was with Martin.
