You never know when something on Facebook will inspire something great, but it seems more often than not these days, we're finding another thing to love about the social network.
It started when we posted a great image of a mom and her sons, one from when they were kids, another when they were grown. It got thousands of likes on our page, and even inspired a local version which might be even better.
Facebook fan Brad Myers says,

My older sister, Christine (35) and younger brother Timothy (26) and I (32) are very close despite the age differences and the fact that we live in different cities. We grew up in the suburbs outside of Pittsburgh and had a very happy childhood together. We did everything together, including sports, reading together and studying. We fought like normal siblings do but we did everything together until we left the house one by one for college. Now that we are all adults, we still try to meet with each other as often as possible. My sister lives in California, my brother in Maryland, and I live in Illinois but we try to get together at least once a year to spend time as siblings. The picture on top was taken at my sister's wedding in Chinatown in Chicago in 2003. I had just graduated college and my brother was still in high school. My sister had already graduated and was working. The picture on the bottom is from my hometown wedding in Pittsburgh in 2012. My sister is 8 months pregnant with her fourth son in this picture. My brother had spent the first part of the year working in Australia. These pictures remind me of our own family but it also serves as a reminder of how our extended family is growing - my sister with her children and myself with my husband. We purposely replicated this picture last year and will do it again when my brother gets married as a reminder of the bond that we share as siblings even though we now have our own families. Like a boomerang, we keep on coming back for each other. Sincerely, Stephanie Yee Galzarano
