Burglary suspect chased down in Fulton; second suspect escapes

FULTON, KY (KFVS) -

A Covington,Tennessee resident was arrested Monday, March 18 after being caught burglarizing a Fulton, KY business.

Fulton Police Officer Doug Love was on patrol at 2:58 a.m., March 18 when he noticed the door glass had been broken out of the business at the Marathon Station on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive.

Two black males were inside of the business and when they saw the officer they fled.

Officer Love pursued them and apprehended Clifton Currie, 25, of Covington, TN as he was attempting to flee in 2005 Blue Honda.

Currie was charged with 1st degree Burglary, 1st degree criminal mischief, possession of Burglary tools, tampering with evidence, fleeing and evading, no operator's licenses and giving officer false name.

The second suspect was not apprehended and is being sought by the Fulton Police Department.
