All six City of Perryville Board of Aldermen voted "yes" to accept Police Chief Keith Tarrillion's resignation Tuesday night.
Tarrillion's lawyer filed a temporary restraining order on the city, meaning city officials can't release documents or information from the investigation on Tarrillion.
The judge will decide what documents and information can be released to the public and media on the issue at that time.

All six City of Perryville Board of Aldermen voted "yes" to accept Police Chief Keith Tarrillion's resignation Tuesday night.
But a judge issued a restraining order Monday, keeping city officials from saying much more than that.
Tarrillion's lawyer filed a temporary restraining order on the city, meaning city officials can't release documents or information from the investigation on Tarrillion.
A hearing is now scheduled in Perry County on March 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM.
The judge will decide what documents and information can be released to the public and media on the issue at that time.
Tarrillion announced his plans to resign last week after an investigation revealed he had allegedly signed another officer's name on a police report for damage at his own home. His insurance company paid him $5,700 dollars for the damage. Tarrillion said he takes responsibility for his actions, but did not do anything illegal.
