The Creal Springs police chief is facing charges of unlawful restraint and domestic battery.

Chief Nicholas Rider was in an Equality, Ill. home blocking the doorway with his body from Lindsey Karns, and in the presence of a child. Rider also allegedly chest-bumped Karns.
