MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Four people were arrested on Wednesday for two separate drug offenses in McCracken County.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, Probation and Parole officers were conducting a home visit at 1246 Vasseur.

During the visit, methamphetamine related items were found.

Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene and found several items of methamphetamine paraphernalia and a quantity of methamphetamine.

Michael Hamlin, 47, and Cynthia Blankenship, 52, were taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives with the Drug Division then got information about illegal drug activity at 1603 N 10 Street.

Allegedly people were selling drugs from a house at that location.

When detectives arrived at the scene around 11 p.m., they also stopped a car with three people in it as it was leaving the house.

Found during a search of the vehicle and the house were: marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia, several items that indicated illegal drug trafficking, a handgun and money believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales.

Four kids were also located in the house and officials say the kids had easy access to the drugs that were found.

Cedrick Pipes, 24, was charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, 4 counts of wanton endangerment and no operator's license.

Also arrested was Shaquille Beard, 20, charged with firearm enhanced possession of marijuana.

Pipe and Beard were both taken to McCracken County Jail.
