Hardin and Gallatin County, IL (KFVS) -

In Gallatin and Hardin Counties, voters had to decide on a sales tax increase.

Gallatin County residents voted yes to a tax increase to pay for public safety purposes. Unofficial final results are 1,210 said yes and 633 said no.

In Hardin County, residents voted yes for a sales tax increase for public safety purposes. Unofficial final results include 561 said yes and 472 said no.
