Four arrested following alleged attempted home break invasion

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Police say that four men are under arrest in Springfield following an attempted home invasion early Thursday morning.

The incident happened at 111 Marlborough St. The residents of that home called police.

The four suspects fled and were arrested on Northampton Avenue.

Louis Pittman, Kevan Cuffie, Tyriese Jackson and Mark Mayweather are all facing a variety of charges including discharging a weapon within 500 feet of a dwelling, attempted home invasion and receiving stolen property.

All four are expected to be arraigned on Thursday.
