NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police have arrested three teens on theft charges and another is wanted after one of them accidentally shot himself in the leg Thursday afternoon.

The group is allegedly responsible for a series of serious crimes in broad daylight within only about a half-hour's time, including a burglary, an attempted burglary and a shooting.

Officers say a woman living at a home on Ainlay Drive came face-to-face with the teens before they allegedly ran out of the home and into another.

Then, the teens allegedly drove to a Murfreesboro Pike pawn shop to try to sell some stolen items when one of the teens apparently shot himself in the leg while waiting in a car outside.

Police said the injured 16-year-old walked into the pawn shop to get help from his accomplices, but they fled the store and left behind a stolen TV.

Three of the suspects, including the injured teen, were later found and arrested on juvenile court charges.

The injured teen is listed in stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and will be charged after he is treated, police said.

A fourth suspect - identified as April Lopez, 19 - remains on the run and is wanted by police. If you have information on her whereabouts, call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
