BONNE TERRE, MO (KFVS) -

Bonne Terre Police Chief Doug Calvert says authorities are searching for a white male who may be armed and dangerous.

According to Calvert, the man was last believed to be in the Sam A. Baker Park.

Calvert says this man is believed to have been at the KC general store on Saturday in Bonne Terre, Mo. selling laptops out of a rental car. He then took off north on Highway 67 before police arrived on scene.

Witnesses described the suspect and Calvert says an investigation began.

According to Calvert, the man has made threats to people including family members. If caught, he would face numerous charges in Bonne Terre.

Calvert says if anyone sees anything suspicious to call authorities in their area.
