Sheriff's office: Man admits to stabbing person 3 to 4 times

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

One person was injured and another arrested after a stabbing in Marshall County Sunday.

A Marshall County Sheriff's deputy responded to Lakeland Arbor Village and found a person with several stab wounds.

Michael D. Nicholas, 59, of Hardin is charged with assault 1st degree.

The victim told the deputy that Nicholas stabbed him and left the apartment just before the deputy arrived.

A knife was found in the kitchen floor near a pool of blood.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, Nicholas had admitted to a man that he had just stabbed someone three or four times.

The victim was taken by EMS.

Nicholas was taken to the Marshall County Detention Center.
