It appears a deadly shooting early Saturday morning in Murfreesboro was a suicide, according to police spokesman Sgt. Kyle Evans.
The shooting occurred in the 2500 block of Gold Valley Drive around 2:30 a.m.
When officers arrived, they discovered a man was shot inside the home.
There were several people inside the residence at the time of the shooting, said police.
Police said they will not release the name of victim until Monday.
Evans said an autopsy would be performed as part of the investigation.
