    A group on Facebook called the “[Controversial humor] National Baby Shakers League: Rise of the fallen” is creating a stir nationwide and here in the heartland.Administrators of the group say the goal is to raise awareness about shaken baby syndrome using shock value.

EAST PRAIRIE (KFVS) -

East Prairie High School students are giving back to others for their senior project.

Students have raised thousands of dollars for a class trip, but instead will donate the cash.

Seniors met Wednesday for a meeting to decide which organizations they would like to donate.

After a brief discussion, they decided give the $2,595 to three organizations. They decided to give $865 towards ROHHAD Fight, the Jessie Rees Foundation and St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.

Students say local children with illnesses that have been recently involved with these organizations.

They want these children to know they are being thought of and hope this money will bring some joy to them.
