Darden, TN -

(WMC-TV) - There were 20 sex offenders at the same event Holly Bobo attended just days before she disappeared. This information was revealed more than two years after the nursing student went missing.

Holly Bobo's mother, Karen, teamed up with a group who is working to put together as many clues as possible to help find her daughter.

"I just started begging them to put out road blocks. I still to this day do not understand why there were no roadblocks," Karen said. She wanted the area around her Darden home locked down so no one could get out the day her 21-year-old daughter disappeared.

Karen Bobo feels the two hours lost before more investigators arrived that day were crucial. She was a teacher and at school when she got the call from a neighbor that a scream was heard coming from her home.

"As soon as I got here, obviously there had been a scream reported. I saw blood. I wasn't just some crazy person saying something had happened to my daughter. I wish they had listened," she said.

A panicked Karen Bobo, her family, and friends ran through the woods behind the house looking for Holly. She fears they may have destroyed evidence.

"Looking back, we shouldn't have run through the woods. We shouldn't have gone through the house but we did," she admitted.

The Bobo family and a group they have teamed up with have discovered that there were more than 20 sex offenders at a Coon Hunter Dinner that Holly also attended. There were a lot of strangers in the area hunting coon and it was also turkey hunting season.

There is a hefty reward of $250,000 in the Holly Bobo case. If you know anything, call 1-800-TBI-Find.
