4 hurt in I-55 roll over crash

STE. GENEVIEVE COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Four people are injured following a crash on Interstate 55 near Ozora.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, it happened around 9:40 p.m. Friday at the 144.6 mile marker on I-55.

Troopers say 18-year-old Kathryn Hubbard of Fairview Heights was behind the wheel when her 2001 Honda Accord traveled off the left side of the roadway, crossed the median and southbound lanes of I-55 and overturned.

Hubbard sustained moderate injuries in the crash. A 19-year-old passenger, Jeremy Bean of Cahokia was reportedly not wearing a seat belt and sustained serious injuries.

Passengers Brendan Bowles, 21, of O'Fallon and Anthony Allen, 20, of Jackson, MO received only minor injuries.

Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
