2 day Heartland rainfall totals

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

With the latest round of rainfall hitting our area, rivers are on the rise once again. Here is a breakdown of rivers are at risk of flooding and who got the most rainfall amounts.

According to the National Weather Service, here are the unofficial two day rain totals in inches ending at 7 a.m. Saturday:

Missouri

Cape Girardeau Airports 1.69

Poplar Bluff Airport 2.36

Perryville 2.12

Wappapello Dam 2.46

Fisk 2.46

Patterson 2.57

Doniphan 2.69

Van Buren 2.48

Illinois

Carbondale Airport 1.32

Brookport, IL 1.15

Cairo, IL 2.25

Mount Vernon, IL 0.78

Kentucky

Paducah Airport 1.37

According to the National Weather Service of Paducah, as of this Saturday morning river gauges are as follows:

Missouri

Minor Flooding

-Black River- Annapolis 11.54 ft. and falling

-St. Francis River- Patterson 19.88 ft. and rising

-Mississippi River- New Madrid 36.92 ft. and rising

Moderate Flooding

- Mississippi River- Chester 35.25 ft. and rising

-Mississippi River- Cape Girardeau ft. 39.93 and rising

-Mississippi River- Thebes 39.29 ft. and falling

Illinois

Minor Flooding

-Big Muddy River- Murphysboro 24 ft. and rising

Moderate Flooding

-Ohio River- Grand Chain 49.5 ft. and steady

-Ohio River- Cairo 49.67 ft. and steady

Kentucky

Minor Flooding

-Ohio River- Paducah 39.47 ft. and steady

    Leadership changes and financial troubles over the last year have new leaders in Scott City exploring areas to save money, but some are trashing one of their latest ideas. A recent post on the city’s Facebook page says the current recycling program in town will stop June 11th.
