Paducah man wanted in connection to check fraud

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

Paducah police asking for help in finding a man wanted in connection with a fraudulent check investigation.

According to Det. Matt Smith, Flavious Lee is accused of depositing a fraudulent check in an account at the Baptist Health Paducah Employee Credit Union, then drawing the money out the following day.

The check later was returned to the credit union as fraudulent.

Lee is described as a black male, 6-feet-2 and 200 pounds.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270/444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL. Tipsters also may text their tips to "CRIMES" (274637) by entering "KyTips" followed by their information.

Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
