Strong smell briefly evacuates Una Elementary

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

An elementary school in southeast Nashville was briefly evacuated Tuesday because of a strong smell.

District Fire Chief Charles Jordan said Una Elementary was evacuated for about 20 minutes.

Firefighters used fans to remove the smell from the building, and then allowed students and faculty to return to the building.

Air quality experts are checking the school as a precaution.
