WESTFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

A Westfield couple is facing charges for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.

Nathaniel Lami, 31, and Leonne Vieu, 23, deny charges of rape and distributing child pornography, among several other charges.

Police searched Colonial Pine Acres Apartments on Southampton Road after the girl went to her parents.

"They recovered evidence to corroborate the victim's story pretty much in total," said Capt. Michael McCabe with the Westfield Police Department.

According to court documents obtained by CBS 3 Springfield, that evidence included nude photos of the victim and pornography, that police say Lami and Vieu were distributing.

Among the disturbing details of the criminal complaint, the victim also stated that the two would cut her with a scalpel-like instrument and Lami would allegedly lick the blood from her wounds.

Police say they even found a so-called "sex slave contract" that the two had allegedly made the victim sign saying she wouldn't report them.

They also say the victim viewed Lami as a brother-like figure.

Neighbors described the complex as a tight-knit community, many families with young children.

"It's shocking to know that someone like that is around here and we have no clue," said Juan Ortiz.

"It's quite shocking when you live right here and I'm amazed right now," said Julia Siermienski.

She saw the two pulled from their apartment.

"I look out the window and there is a man and a woman being taken out in handcuffs," she said.

They were arraigned Tuesday and are being held on bail. Police say they believe more victims may be involved.

"We'd like to know and investigate it to its fullest extent if there are other victims out there," McCabe said.

The two are due back in court for a pre-trial conference on June 6.

They also face charges including assault and battery and reckless endangerment of a child.
