About half of the states have made the decision to expand Medicaid. Missouri lawmakers are currently debating the matter in Jefferson City. How will what legislators decide impact the state, and those currently living without health insurance?

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A husband and wife are behind bars after reports of shots fired. Police say they also found child in the couple's care drunk.

Kentucky State Police say it happened in Livingston County Friday night. Someone called police to report shots had been fired. When police arrived, they say Leon Cunningham was outdoors, intoxicated and firing a gun.

Investigators learned that before they arrived Cunningham had already fired off several shots after a fight with his wife. When Cunningham went back into the house, police say he and his wife argued and struggled over the gun. The scuffle caused the firearm to accidentally discharge, striking Theresa Cunningham in the leg.

Theresa Cunningham was taken to the hospital. A child inside the home was also taken to a local hospital for treatment of alcohol poisoning.

Leon Cunningham is charged with Assault in the first Degree for domestic violence, and three counts wanton endangerment. Theresa Cunningham was charged with wanton endangerment in the first degree.

Both Cunninghams are currently being held in the McCracken County Jail.
