Sikeston man arrested on several drug charges

SCOTT CITY, MO (KFVS) -

A Sikeston man was arrested Friday on several drug charges.

According to the Scott County Sheriff's Office, information was received about alleged illegal drug activity during a narcotics investigation.

Deputies obtained a warrant and executed it late Friday night at the home of 31-year-old Jonathan Schuerenberg.

During the search, deputies seized marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, prescription narcotics and multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia.

Schuerenberg was charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of delivery of drug paraphernalia.

Schuerenberg was taken to the Scott County Jail on $100,000 bond.
