CARUTHERSVILLE, MO (KFVS) -

Police have made three arrests in a Caruthersville homicide.

Frank K. Rogers Jr., 27, of Caruthersville, Dedrick F. Tilson, 21, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Kevin T. Tilson, 36, of Caruthersville are all charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action, according to the Pemiscot County Prosecutor's Office.

According to Caruthersville Police Chief Tony Jones, Rodney Maxwell was found dead slumped over the steering wheel with a gunshot wound Friday night.

Authorities received a call of a car crash in the 300 block of 7th Street. When authorities arrived on scene, Maxwell was already dead and an investigation started.

Maxwell's wife, Shannon Maxwell, says he was 33 years old. Maxwell had three children, a 14-year-old daughter, 12-year-old son, and a 7-month-old son.

"I have an emptiness that needs filling and wants to know why anyone would do this," Shannon said. "He was a great father and will never get to hear his youngest son call him daddy now."

Rogers, Tilson, and Tilson are due in court on Thursday, May 16 at 10 a.m. at the Pemiscot County courthouse for their first appearance.
