NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

TSA security screeners found an unloaded gun in a carry-on bag Thursday morning at Nashville International Airport.

Around 9 a.m., the passenger was trying to get through security when officers found a .380 semi-automatic pistol.

Security screeners at the airport have confiscated 17 guns this year.
