    Eldorado, IL (KFVS)- Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with the kidnapping of an Eldorado woman. According to Eldorado Police Chief Shannon Deuel, a 19-year-old woman was taken, possibly at knife-point, Wednesday night somewhere on Beulah Street around 9:30 p.m.

SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) -

Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter reports two men face heroin-related charges investigation in the city of Sikeston. 

Kermit Gillespie, 37, of Wyatt, Missouri, has been charged with the class B felony of distribution of a controlled substance and the class A misdemeanor of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Lorenzo Robinson, 36, of Sikeston, Missouri, has also been charged with the class B felony of distribution of a controlled substance, and the class A misdemeanor of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Walter says his office began investigating information of heroin being transported and distributed between Charleston and Sikeston late last week leading to the sting operation Thursday afternoon.

Gillespie and Robinson were found to be in possession of heroin packaged in individual bags for distribution, according to Sheriff Walter.

The estimated street value of the heroin was set at $1000. 

Both men were taken to the Scott County Jail. Bond was set at $50,000.
